They're back!! Here we have the classic Terra Humara's in fresh new colorways. There are a few other colors in selected stores. Better go check them out if you are looking for comfortable and fresh sneaker, for the fall season. As you can see I already grabbed 2 pair.
“Founded in late 2005 with $85,000 in seed capital, BabyCakes NYC broke even after only seven months. Last year, sales hit $690,000. This year, he company will gross $1.2 million, according to McKenna, with gross profit of $497,000 and net income of $100,000. That's pretty good, given that, as with most food businesses, BabyCakes' markup on specific items is low. Each cupcake, for example, costs $2 to produce and retails for $3. Next year, with a second store open in Los Angeles, McKenna projects sales of $1.8 million.” Inc Magazine Written By Aviva Yael Read The Article Here

I know a lot of people can't afford HBO's crazy prices or they rather buy sneakers instead of paying the cable bill.
Ari and Vince pitch their smoke-jumper script to studios, while Eric has a tense negotiations with the screenwriters and with Amanda. Drama's appearance on The View is a memorable one.
The T-Mobile G1 will be available at selected T-Mobile stores and dealers starting on October 27th for $179. Two new data/messaging plans will also be available at $35 with unlimited data & messaging and $25 with unlimited web & some messaging.
So I'm at work and I happen to spot this ever so amazing cell phone by Google/T-Mobile called the "G1". I am not able to share my sources but let's say this is a good one. After talking about the phone's specifications and all that jazz, I was about to see in person what the phone had to offer. We didn't make any phone calls, but I got a chance to check out the internet browser, street view feature, and the touch screen options.
The internet browser was great and the load time in a low signal are was rather fast. The icons on the phone's main page were straight forward and easy to access. Also the street view feature was pretty cool. Stay tuned as I will keep you posted with more information about the G1.
See I made a big mistake! Download this joint and let it sit on my hard drive. Two days slide by me and I decided to throw it into my iTunes. I'll let you be the judge of this one .... Enjoy!

Maserati recently made the announcement on their website, “We are going to surprise you,” well, they seem to have done it with the new GranTurismo MC Corse Concept. The new hardcore GranTurismo variant is based off the current 4.7 liter V8 GranTurismo S with 430hp. The MC Corse is breed for the track, dominating corners with authority. With the help of engine upgrades, a new air intake system and a race ready extraction system, the power output gets a boost to 450 hp. An additional aerodynamically perfected front splitter, side skirts and spoiler combination ensure optimal downforce levels. Handling levels have also been improved with the help of a stiffer suspension setup and race rubber (18x12-inch front and 18x13-inch rear). Braking distance is reduced with the use of larger brake rotors and monobloc racing callipers. One thing definitely needs a mention, and that’s the FIA approved rollcage… like we said, this is built to dominate the track. With all this said, we don’t see this to be the only surprise that Maserati will deliver.
Earlier this summer Zook York and Skavenger put together a little bike race called "Bomb Down Broadway". With a 100+ BMX riders participating the race went from Union Square to Edwin De La Rosa' Post Store in Brooklyn all done without wiping out or getting stopped by the boys in blue. Check the video for this insane race.

"No two companies are built exactly alike. As a result, the amount of start-up capital entrepreneurs need -- and where they get it -- can vary greatly. That's especially true for young entrepreneurs, who rarely play by the usual rules.
Bobby Kim and Ben Shenassafar of The Hundreds, for example, took out a mere $400 from their bank accounts to launch their popular apparel line. Noah Lehmann-Haupt, on the other hand, had enough initial capital to buy a Ferrari, and used subsequent rental fees to purchase more cars for his then-fledgling exotic car rental service, Gotham Dream Cars.
For young entrepreneurs, who often lack substantial savings and credit because of their age, finding those precious few dollars to get a company off the ground can be tough. Reaching out to family members and taking out small-business loans are among the most common methods. But in many cases, aspiring CEOs dip into their own savings. Maxing out credit cards, while not the most responsible method, isn't that uncommon either." -Inc.com Website Article: Click To Read The Article
This is my favorite company listed. I pick this one based on the idea, movement they have, and the product. But don't get me wrong I do enjoy some of the other companies whom have great ideas and are making truck loads of money, but The Hundreds brand and owners hit home grossing over 2 million with something they love. Be sure to checkout all the profiles especially Leanna Archer,Click To Read The Article , the 12 year old from New York, who successfully runs her all-natural hair products business since the age of nine.
The Hundreds

"What started as a blog and a simple T-shirt line produced by two law school classmates has become The Hundreds -- a worldwide skateboarder lifestyle and apparel brand with an online magazine that attracts more than 1 million unique visitors a month. Kim and Shenassafar are the company's sole owners, and they credit much of their success to their independence. "We're not a corporate clothing company trying to sell down to you," Kim says. "We're ringing you up and sweeping the floors, and then going back to running a 30-person company. Our customers relate to it because we're on their level." Revenue is expected to hit $4 million in 2008."
Within our crew here at Futon Lingo, only two of us are really car buffs, Dash-us Clay and myself. But I'm sure after watching this video all of us will be playing Mega Millions to purchase this car. Even though it's a prototype, rumor has it Cadillac is thinking of putting it into production. I'm sorry did I forget to mention the stock 24's and stock 1000 horses!

Just like everyone else I also forgot that the new episode of Entourage was coming on tonight. But luckily using my great searching skills, I found it for you all. Enjoy
I know your mouth's dropped just like mine did when I saw they were bringing these back out. The word is they're dropping sometime next year in different months. I'm sure Nike will come out with a variety of color ways that will make the enthusiast of the originals vomit. Anyways, look out for these next year, and I will keep you posted on the official release date.
Stumbled across this video from The Roots Rising Down, and decided to share it with my viewers. Listen closely to Wale's verse, which is mean. I like the video and of course the song is sick. Enjoy.
Now I can't really say much about these games since I've only played NBA Live 09 demo, but from the videos my personal opinion is NBA Live 2009 will be pretty decent. Don't get me wrong, but the NBA 09 looks promising with the "The Life" feature, and 2K9 doesn't look bad with those crossovers, but I think NBA Live 2009 will come out on top.
I'm sure a lot of people were waiting for this. Even though it's more of a "best of" mixtape, guess it will still hold us over until the album drops. Enjoy!

Well well well, what do we have here. I stumbled across this little gadget, Blackberry 9500 aka, the Thunder, which is said to be releasing late 2009. The design above is a mock-up but the company is thinking of sticking with this design. But to all you T-Mobile, Sprint, and At&T slaves, the phone may be exclusive to Verizon.
Little more info below ...
"The device may have the most technically advanced cellular wireless support ever, according to the claim. If accurate, the Thunder would include both CDMA and GSM support for world roaming, and would also handle 3.5G or pre-4G data: it may support up to Ultra Mobile Broadband (also known as EVDO Revision C) on CDMA networks, downloading up to 280Mbps in peak conditions, while adding full High Speed Packet Access support on GSM services. This support would allow the new BlackBerry to operate in nearly any country with 3G or better Internet access".
"An announcement of the phone may occur as early as summer of this year, according to the rumor, putting the handset in competition with the 3G iPhone. The apparent leak is nonetheless labeled as early information that may be subject to change".
When I first heard & watched the making of this beat and the feeling he had when making it, I was blown away. I mean, aren't we all turned on by inspiration?!? You have to love witnessing individuals in the peak of their very own inspiration/zone. At about 4:25 in the "Making of Addiction", checkout the tune he plays. Enjoy!
Remember in "Back to the Future" when Lorraine Baines McFly and George McFly were dancing in the gym and the song that Marty McFly was playing the guitar to? "Earth Angel, Earth Angel, will you be mine.." Well mix that song, with a little Gnarls Barkley (St. Elsewhere), Jay-Z (American Gangster), and a little Raphael Saadiq touch, and you will have "The Way I See it". It reminds me of my parents having their friends over when I was younger and you saw nothing but afro's, brown furniture, and Cadillac Eldorados lining the driveway. This album is pretty good and I'm sure it will put most people in a nostalgic state when listening to it. Be sure to pick it up on September 19th.

I finally caught up with my favorite show Entourage. I missed the first and second episode so I figured I would share it with you all. Stayed tuned, I'm looking for a fresh version of episode 2. Enjoy.
I found this video a few months ago, and I've decided to share it with the rest of the world. Instead of driving to Prestige Imports every night to see the latest exotic they have, I'll just watch this.
Vimeo is like a "diamond in the rough". You'll find the coolest videos on their site. Unlike Youtube, it's not filled with a bunch of teenagers making videos of them fighting or dancing to the latest song. Instead, you'll stumble across a project someone actually put some thought into and they just want to share it with the world.

I'm not usually a fan of the Jordan Air Force thing, but these are some attractive sneakers. Reason being I think they incorporate more of the 20's then they do the Air Force One. Look out for these on December 20th. Also, they have a two low colors that will be dropping first on October 11th.
I saw this in the store and I bought it because the can was hot. I get to work today and I downed one with a sausage egg and cheese sandwich. The next thing you know, I'm dancing to every song that my iTunes played. Had me talking to people at work that I've never spoken to like we're best friends.
This is the new Crack in a Can! *wonders how it will taste with alcohol*his is the new Crack in a Can!
For the people that know me understand my drive and dedication to business and entrepreneurial goals. I stumbled across this article on Yahoo and was link to Businessweek's website, and I found it rather interesting. If this isn't useful inspiration then I don't know what is! Be sure to check out the Corey Capasso, 21, who manufactures flavored plastic that is used with anything from baby pacifiers to water bottles. Check it out and leave comments on what you think
Even though it's been out for a while, I had to share this song with everyone because Drake's verse is meaner than motor vehicle employees! When Weezie starts reciting the alphabet it gets to the point where you wish it was just Drake on the track. Enjoy!
I finally got down to my magazine spot to pick up my back of items on hold. The Dwell is on point for all the eco-friendly and modern design junkies out there. I make sure I get this each month. The Vibe was purchased because it has a mean article about Hov, and Vapors did a good special about sneakers. The Complex is cool but to me it seems like it becoming too commercial. I still love it. Also checkout Antenna and Sneaker Freaker.
P.S. You have to excuse my iPhone camera, the lighting was stupid low and I didn't feel like setting up a photo shoot for some magazines.
This song actually grew on me. But rumor has it he's doing the whole album with that "computer love" voice over thing. We are praying on everything that's holy that he doesn't do that. But if the album turns out good then I guess we will be eating our words. Enjoy ...
Wasn't expecting this! Jada gets busy as always, Hov just prepares you for something special but your just left with cosigns. Hopefully when Kiss My Ass drops, Jadakiss will stick to the mixtape flow and not the "song for the chicks" music.
Sandman "Anchor" New solo video from Sandman for the song title "Anchor".
Apparently the Re-Up Gang is no more. Well Sandman says he's out based on the newly released album, Clipse Present "The Re-Up Gang".
Even though he's not apart of the group now, from what he's saying, he may re-join for future projects. There isn't any comments from Clipse or Ab Liva but we will keep you posted.
To be honest, I would have left the group also if we put an album out like that. The "We Got It 4 Cheap" series was great and I'm sure all Re-Up Gang fans were waiting for a Re-Up album, but all we got was a "cut and paste" album that should have been titled, "Best of We Got It 4 Cheap".
"When it comes to my music, dog, this is what I love," said Sandman Tuesday afternoon. "I'm not tryin' to be a god-damned architect or nothin', or else I'd put my time into that. When you have a movement like the Re-Up Gang, something that came out of nowhere that was turned into a cult following, I just don't see how people dropped the ball on the last project. So it didn't make sense for me to stick around if shit ain't in my best interest."
"I could be bitter. You know how this shit normally looks. But I'm a G, Cannons Inc. is real, and I'm not runnin' around not talkin' no shit. I'm forever the Inc or The Re-Up Gang. The Re-Up Gang ain't goin' nowhere, and after I blow, niggas are gonna wanna do reunion albums and all that, but right now, [no]. I feel like they think that the Re-Up is all from them, the success of it."
Check www.yeahhcannons.com to listen to the Sandman radio interview.
These classic Kicks are due for a comeback. I don't have a release date for them yet, but be sure that these will be coming in other colorways. Better grab you a pair because I sho will.
Raphael Saadiq Feat. Jay-Z - Oh Girl (Remix) Mr. Saadiq's album, The Way I See It, scheduled to be released September 16th is on my list of things to get. Anyway, this track sounds good and kind of reminds me of relationship weather (Baltimore rain, wind, and quick sprints to the car to quickly turn on the heat). Check it out and leave comments on what you think.
